Hard Rock Atlantic City’s Opening Weekend Lineup Announced
The grand opening of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is slated to be on 28 June 2018. Last week, Masterpiece Advertising announced the headliners for the weekend: award-winning Carrie Underwood and pop sensation Pitbull. Unlike what the name suggests, the stars set to perform have no association to rock ‘n roll whatsoever. Previously, the casino’s patrons would be serenaded with old-school rock ‘n roll anthems. The break in tradition for the grand opening is a testament to how the entertainment landscape has shifted, with pop being the new trend.
Newly Revamped Hard Rock Attracting Different Crowd
The former Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort has undergone a total transformation, and that goes for more than just the building. Hard Rock announced the headliners, with seven-time Grammy winner, Carrie Underwood’s set on the 29 June and pop superstars Pitbull the next day. While the duo might not be the expected blend of rock ‘n roll music associated with the casino resort, they will certainly fill the Etess Arena. Earlier this year, the casino teased the populace with a list of upcoming acts set to take the stage over the course of this year. Scheduled performers include Kid Rock, Black Shelton and comedian Amy Schumer.
Hard Rock Set to Wow Crowds on Stage & Casino Tables
In the lead up to the grand opening, Hard Rock received the green light to open its doors on 28 June from the New Jersey Casino Control Commission (CCC). The casino license was rendered following a successful inspection report from the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Casino game enthusiasts have access to over 2 000 pokies machine titles and 120 table games. Make your way to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino resort for an amazing night of entertainment and a chance to play some of their state of the art casino games.
