Game of the Week – 777 Heist
777 Heist gives a new spin on 5-Reel video pokies. The game features a fun action-adventure theme where your goal is to steal the most valuable objects in the world. It is part Casino Heist and part Mission Impossible.
In addition to winning standard prizes, you can unlock multipliers, special spins, and even a free spins game. This game is both fun and addictive and perfect for all bankrolls.
Become the Ultimate Thief
777 Heist is the newest 5-Reel online pokie from Red Rake Gaming. In this game, you’re a hacker who goes around trying to steal the richest prizes in the world. The game is part Mr. Robot and part Mission Impossible.
The object of the game is to match three or more blocks on a 5×5 grid. Unlike most pokies, it doesn’t matter where on the grid you make a match. You can also make both vertical and horizontal matches, allowing you to earn even larger prizes.
The low paying symbols for the game are your Royals. Then you have the items you are trying to steal. They are statues, paintings, and diamonds. You can make a winning match by matching either three of the same item or a mix of three items.
The hacker is the Wild symbol for this game and replaces all other symbols. There are multiple cool features that can help you win more often.
Cascading Wins and Multipliers
During this game, whenever you make a match of three or more, the winning squares will disappear off the board and squares will drop down. If you match three squares, the center square will be replaced by a hacker Wild.
After blocks disappear and/or drop, then any new combinations will be paid. If additional three square wins occur, more wilds will appear. This continues until there are no additional winning combinations or no non-wild squares on the screen.
Note that if you match four or more squares, a wild will appear. After each win, the multiplier is increased by 1x. This continues until there are no more winning combinations.
If no winning combinations hit the board, the hacker thief may tap his tablet. This may activate a thief skill. Skills are as follows:
Hacking – A random symbol will be selected and all those symbols will be replaced by another.
Harness – The thief will drop down like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible and place two Wild symbols on the screen.
Smoke Bomb – Two symbols will be randomly selected and all of those on the screen will disappear.
If you make a winning combination using the artwork or diamond symbols, you will begin to fill the hacker skills meter. Three symbols will fill the meter by 1/3. Four symbols will fill the meter by 2/3 and five symbols will fill the meter fully.
If the meter is fully filled during a spin, it will unlock the special spin feature. After the current spin payoffs are made, the three Thief Skills are activated in the order listed above.
Note that the meter must be filled during a spin to activate this feature. If you only fill it 1/3 or 2/3 of the way, the meter will reset the next spin.
If you are lucky enough to eliminate all of the non-wild symbols on your screen, you will unlock the free spins feature. You’ll receive six free spins. During the spins, the multiplier will not be reset. Also, all non-winning spins will trigger a Thief Skill. Additional free spins can be won by filling the accumulator.
We were to trigger the free spins after a Special Spin session cleared the board. During the free spins, we hit a win of 65x our initial bet. That was awesome.
Awesome Medium Variance Pokie That’s Highly Addictive
This is one of the few online pokies I’ve reviewed that I would consider “addictive.” The game feels more like an adventure game rather than a normal online pokie. It was a lot of fun and something that I ended up playing a lot longer than I normally do.
Based on payouts and features, this game falls in the medium variance category. The game is perfect for all bankrolls with spins ranging from .35 AUD all the way to $60 AUD per spin. It is a great game for clearing online casino bonuses and one that gives you a great shot of hitting a big win.
